This year’s International Meeting of the Landscape and Garden in Bergamo, Italy, is a global gathering that will draw together top landscape thinkers from around the world in September 2024 for a series of talks on how design can be valuable and instrumental in helping us to confront the various crises we face, and foster regeneration in society.
Looking at climate change and how we need to redefine planting and urban spaces, this year’s programme sees Bergamo’s historic piazza transformed into a green haven with an installation by landscape architect Catherine Mosbach. There are also several seminars and courses happening around the main conference, all of which are aimed at both professionals in horticulture and landscape design and enthusiastic, knowledgeable gardeners.
Speakers for 2024 include: Arthur Adeya (Kenya), Arit Anderson (UK), Margherita Brianza (Italy), Herbert Dreiseitl (Germany, Andrew Grant (UK), Damian Holmes (Australia), Andrew Laidlaw (Australia), Catherince Mosbach (France), Yoonjin Park (South Korea), Amalia Robredo (Uruguay) and Tony Spencer (Canada).
