Horticulturalist, writer and TV presenter Alan Titchmarsh is to launch his own YouTube channel, to appeal to a 'new generation of gardeners'.
'Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh' will launch on YouTube in April 2025 and will release weekly YouTube films which will offer expert advice from Alan on what to do in the garden.

The films will offer 'how-to' videos, and will also give tips and accessible advice. There will be masterclasses on specific topics, all of which are designed to inspire new and experienced gardeners.
The videos will be published on YouTube, and will simultaneously be published on newly created TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts and will aim to reach gardeners on a global scale.
Alan Titchmarsh said: “I’d never have guessed that I would become a 75-year-old influencer and be hosting on the world’s biggest streaming platform. I’ve been gardening for more than 60 years, and this is the perfect place to pass on that knowledge to an international audience of all ages. YouTube has become the go to platform for people wanting to learn new skills so where better for me to inspire new gardeners and help experienced gardeners hone their skills”.
Middlechild Productions will produce the channel, which will be executive produced by David Sumnall and Matt Young, also the producer behind Love your Garden on ITV.
