Alan Titchmarsh MBE - gardener, broadcaster, author and national treasure - talks to podcast host and Gardens Illustrated editor Stephanie Mahon about the gardens, places, people and plants that he would like to include in his dream garden, from a tiny cottage garden on the coast of Cornwall to York Gate garden near Leeds and the ultimate summerhouse at Wolverton Hall. Discover which famous designer he would like to ask to create his little piece of paradise, what he really thinks of rewilding and why his legs are censored in North Korea.

Episodes of season three of Talking Gardens will drop weekly (usually on a Tuesday) for nine weeks, with guests including community gardener and activist Tayshan Hayden-Smith; designers Ann-Marie Powell and Andy SturgeonKaty Merrington, cultural gardener at The Hepworth Wakefield gallery garden in Yorkshire; planting designer Nigel Dunnett; TV presenter Kate Humble; and Jimi Blake, owner of Hunting Brook Garden in Ireland, plus designer Miria Harris - whose episode includes a preview of her Chelsea Flower Show garden and drops as a special Chelsea edition on Sunday 19 May, just before the show begins.

Talking Gardens launched in March 2023 and won the Garden Podcast of the Year Award at the Garden Media Guild Awards in November 2023. Previous guests include Piet Oudolf, Sarah Price, Fergus Garrett, Marian Boswall, Troy Scott Smith, Alice Vincent, Tom Stuart-Smith, Nigel Slater, Isabel Bannerman and Arthur Parkinson.
